Build Details & Information

Hello! I am Brother Chris and I have been playing Lost Ark since its western release in February 2022. This is meant to be an introductory guide to quickly get you up to speed for a raid/pve Enhanced Weapon Deadeye so you can live out your wildest dreams pretending to be Dante from DmC.

Class Introduction

Enhanced Weapon Deadeye is another one of the few classes in Lost Ark that touts real life hurty shooty guns. Despite this Deadeye is a very upclose and personal IN YOUR FACE kind of class featuring back attacking playstyle mixed with needing to be incredibly close to the boss, so be warned you must be a LOVER of chasing the back and being as close as humanly possible to deal maximum damage.

Pros
  • Moderate burst
  • Very little downtime
Cons
  • Many animation locks
  • Low defense, squishy
  • Need to know fights well to perform decently

Rotation

Enhanced Weapon Deadeye has a very similar playstyle to that of many of the classes in this game - that being apply your debuff and deal damage within that window. The added bonus to this is you must make sure your Enhanced Weapon buff is up which granted, shouldn't be too hard as you're going to be swapping to pistol every 6 or so seconds to reapply spiral-tracker-weakness-exposure anyways.

Basic rotation is something like this.

  1. Spiral Tracker
  2. Shotgun Rapid Fire
  3. Last Request
  4. Shotgun Dominator
  5. Spiral Tracker
  6. Sign of Apocalypse
  7. Quick Shot
  8. Cruel Tracker

It all boils down to making sure to maintain spiral-tracker-weakness-exposure while weaving in your big damage abilities. The majority of your damage is going to come from your shotgun skills so you prioritize those first. Dexterous Shot and Somersault Shot are your mobility tools to help you reposition and hit the back a bit easier, though depending on the boss it can still be a pain to do so. If you manage to get all of your main skills on cooldown you can fill with rifle skills, you will pretty much always have SOMETHING to be pressing.

Engravings

Enhanced Weapon Deadeye has two main different setups it can use, in this build we use the more accessible/cheaper option

Engraving priority would be something like Enhanced Weapon > Ambush Master > Grudge > Cursed Doll > Keen Blunt Weapon

The more expensive or 'luxury' option is keeping Enhanced Weapon at level 1 and running Adrenaline as a level 2 to make up for the crit rate. This is way more expensive for similar performance so I don't suggest this for a 5x3 setup.

Stats

Stats are pretty simple and straight forward, you want spec primary with crit secondary. We scale hard off of specialization so make sure to get as much as possible and try not to skimp out.

Specialization: 1600
Crit: 550

This is with relic accessories and a bracelet and all potions unlocked from horizontal content.

Relic Set

We are a back attack, Ambush Master loving class so naturally we must take the Entropy set. Scales our damage more, gives more crit rate, the good stuff.

Skills

The only real skill changes you can make is swapping the awakening out, I use Bursting Flare due to it being ranged but you can just as easily use Clay Bombardment if you prefer.

Runes

You don't have to run Conviction + Judgment if you don't want to, the shotgun runes are pretty set in stone but otherwise runes are flexible and can be swapped around without too much worry - slot freely my friends

Card Sets

Enhanced Weapon generally has enough crit rate to not get super big benefit from Lostwind Cliff though it is still one of the best sets to use until you can swap to Light of Salvation at 18 awakening as that is the go to end game damage dealer card set.
