Build Details & Information

Hello! I am Brother Chris and I have been playing Lost Ark since its western release in February 2022. This is meant to be an introductory guide to quickly get you up to speed for a raid/pve Robust Spirit Soulfist so you can get to dropping those large spirit bombs!

Class Introduction

Robust Spirit Soulfist is a class that has burst and recharge periods, you do all your damage in small windows while in hype with Energy Release activated. If you want to drop massive amounts of damage in small periods of time, Robust Spirit soulfist will satiate that hunger, plus World Decimation is the hardest hitting awakening skill in the game (when it hits, at least).

Pros
  • Strong late game
  • Burst oriented
  • Very mobile
Cons
  • No damage outside of hype
  • Early game feels bad to play
  • Can feel exceptionally bad when World Decimation doesn't hit/crit

Rotation

Robust Spirit has a pretty rigid rotation, you can alter the order a little bit but you always want to open with Energy Release before casting any damaging abilities, as it is your big damage amplifier and what puts the robust in robust spirit.

An optimal start of fight rotation would look something like this.

  1. Flash Step *3
  2. Bolting Crash
  3. Level 3 Hype
  4. Energy Release
  5. Merciless Pummel
  6. Shadowbreaker
  7. Force Orb
  8. Celestial Palm
  9. Crippling Barrier
  10. Force Orb
  11. Energy Release
  12. Bolting Crash
  13. Merciless Pummel
  14. Shadowbreaker
  15. Force Orb
  16. Celestial Palm
  17. Crippling Barrier
  18. Force Orb

That may seem like a long rotation but you can just break it down into a burst cycle, you always want to do the same things and if you have Merciless Pummel off cooldown and you can go into Level 3 Hype or have it active you should go for the burst cycle and fit whatever other skills you can in. The flash steps at the beginning are to build Adrenaline stacks, if you don't run Adrenaline feel free to not flash step.

Engravings

The engraving build I have listed here is what is generally considered the meta build for Robust Spirit. You are able to swap Adrenaline for Precise Dagger if you prefer to not play with Adrenaline or the cost is too expensive.

Engraving priority would be something like Robust Spirit > Grudge > Adrenaline > Cursed Doll > Keen Blunt Weapon

Stats

Stats are pretty easy. We are a specialization class that uses the secondary stat of crit. We want spec on every piece of gear possible, and our second stat should be crit on necklace. Soulfist is a very crit starved class, unfortunately even with all the crit we try to get.

Spec: 1650
Crit: 550

Is what I have on my Robust Spirit soulfist, this is with relic accessories and a bracelet and all potions unlocked from horizontal content.

Relic Set

For Robust Spirit soulfist, our only realistic choice is going to be the Hallucination set as it gives us what we are lacking most; crit. Also gives us a damage boost which is never a bad thing.

Tripods

The only real flexible tripod option we have is on Energy Release, instead of Tenacity you can swap it to either of the other tripods, generally Shout of Purification is the go to as having an on demand cleanse for your entire party can be very huge in some content.

Skills

There is quite a bit of flexibility with Robust Spirit skill choices, if you've looked at a few guides before this one I'm sure the glaring one is the fact that I use Shadowbreaker over Energy Blast. The reasoning for this is simply I do not like how Energy Blast feels in the rotation, it makes it feel janky and awkward to play. A bonus to this is the fact that Shadowbreaker brings weak point and heavy stagger to the table, which can be very useful in certain content. Energy Blast is undoubtedly more damage but it's not by such a large margin that I feel like I need to run it.
Another skill swap you can make is if you want to run Energy Blast and also run Shadowbreaker you can drop Crippling Barrier. These are all very flexible and interchangable skills with each other, so feel free to experiment and run what you like best.

Runes

As far as rune options, as always feel free to move the Galewind (Epic) runes around to whatever skills best fit you. I would leave the Galewind (Legendary) on Merciless Pummel as it is by far our strongest skill and you want to make sure you get it in as fast as possible.
I also run Conviction (Legendary) and Judgment (Legendary) to occasionally get reduced cooldown procs on things like flash step or even my World Decimation. It certainly can be swapped out for pretty much anything else, again, dependent on what your preference is.

Card Sets

Robust Spirit can utilize Lostwind Cliff card set at a much higher value than some other classes as we have a severe lack of crit despite trying to stack it wherever possible, Keen Blunt Weapon means crit is a big damage increase for us at all times.

If you don't want or think you need the crit, the go to is always Light of Salvation at 18 awakening or more as it provides the most damage increase.
